Dunlop

DUNLOP and JB, it feels to me like Ferrari and Shell or KFC and chips, that is my sense of humour. Dunlop was my first ever sponsor in racing, I was 16 and the local Devonport Dunlop Dealer agreed to sponsor my first race car, a VW powered Formula Vee. Now, 40 years on (god, did I say that),  Dunlop and I are still together. Not only am I a Product Ambassador for Dunlop but I have an increasing role in Customer Relations. I have helped with product development and marketing in more recent years. The only thing I probably haven’t helped with is building their tyres. Thank goodness for that! The company is huge, as you would expect, but the people from the CEO right down to the tyre fitters’ have a passion and loyalty to the product that is very customer focussed. Their is a fantastic culture within the Dunlop brand and the franchise operators love the support and commitement Dunlop have in Motor sport. It's not unusual for me to be seen in the Dunlop box at V8Supercar events sharing a chat with their guests or in recent times I was MC at their National Franchisee Converence, great for me - not so sure about the attending guest. There is not a Dunlop for your car, tell em JB sent you!

Dunlop make the best tyres in the world, don’t you forget that!
